So I believe the most important make up essentials to have are Studio Fix Powder by Mac, a Studio Fix + which helps in hydration during the day, my black or brown kohl pencil by Maybelline Collosol and last but not least a great matt liquid lipstick either by Mac or Anastasia Beverly hills.
5 MINUTE MAKEOVER TIPS FOR THE GIRL ON THE GO
All you need is a great compact powder like Macs Studio Fix to start with all over the face ,its light and gives u the perfect coverage instantly.I then suggest spray the face with Macs Fix + to set the powder. Use an eyelash curler to curl ur lashes and open up the eyes, followed by 2 swipes of a good mascara. I believe filling and shaping ones eyebrows is so essential it just completes the face . Use a brown powder or Eyebrow pencil whichever you are most comfortable with. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz is amazing .Use a great Gel Liner as your kohl on the bottom water line, then a fresh colored blush for the summer is an absolute essential for us all. I love the Clinique Colour Pop ones they come in amazing shades. Lastly a great soft fresh gloss or Matte lipstick whichever you prefer to complete this look.
A MAKE UP LOOK THAT WILL GO WITH THE PALE DAFFODIL BLOSSOM NECKLACE
The perfect look for this statement piece would be a great dewy soft look. Just emphasize the lips with a fresh Summer pop of colour, keep the eyes understated and play up the lashes.
A MAKE UP LOOK THAT WILL GO WITH THE SHADES OF SPRING COLLAR NECKLACE
For this look I would definitely wear it at night and play up the eyes with a beautiful green smoked out look and nude lips. Sharpen and contour the cheeks to look more chiseled and give you that perfect party look.
BIGGEST MISTAKE GIRLS TEND TO MAKE WITH MAKE UP
I would say the biggest mistake that girls need to get their foundation colour right and must always blend all make up well as we dont want patchy or strong lines on the face.
SOME MAKE UP DO'S AND DON'TS
Do's
1) Definitely invest in a great foundation that works for your skin type.
2) Use a beautiful highlighter just at the top of your cheeks and down the bridge of your nose to get that perfect dewy finish.
3) Always fill and shape your eyebrows, it will change your face and complete your look.
4) Always blend all your make up well to get that perfect finish.
5) Always us a good lip balm before applying your make up as by the time u reach your lips they will be ready and soft for any colour u desire.
Dont's
1) Never over do the foundation and make it heavy, this doesn't work with our climatic conditions.
2) Never goo too light in your concealer color, same color or one color lighter is fine.
3) Never use too much highlighter if you have oily skin as at some point the make up is going to look greasy as your skin will start secreting its oils naturally.
4) If you do a smokey black eye always try and keep the lips a softer colour to complete the look.
